PAX 2014: Saints Row IV: Re-Elected and Gat Out of Hell announcement

Teasers during the run up to PAX 2014 had all of us on the edge of our seats ready for a new Saints Row release, and although it’s not a new game we’re still going to be getting some juicy new content. Deep Silver revealed a standalone title, Gat out of Hell, which sees the Saints jump head first into hell in order to save the one and only Johnny Gat. Players can play as the legend himself or as Kinzie Kensington as they battle through the underworld and cause mass destruction that they’re known for.

Secondly, Saints Row IV: Re-Elected will be coming very soon, it’s a port for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will features new features and tweaks that many people have come to expect from other ‘next-gen’ games such as Metro: Redux and The Last of Us: Remastered.

Gat Out of Hell will be released on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One January 27 in the US, and on January 30 elsewhere.

Saints Row IV: Re-Elected will arrive on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One the same dates as the new standalone content.
