PSN Easter Sale – Forget Eggs, Treat Yourself to Some of These!

With Easter slowly closing in, many game companies and retailers are starting to push their Easter sales. Last week the PlayStation Store (EU) started their sale and there are quite a few intriguing titles included, with many having a large portion of their prices knocked-off. Here are a few of my own personal picks across PS3, PS4 and Vita platforms and also included are some games you should most certainly buying before the sale ends (available from 5/4/2017 to 19/4/2017 at 11:59pm).

DiRT Rally, VR Upgrade DLC, VR Bundle – PERSONAL PICK (PS4)

If you’re into racing, specifically rally, then the DiRT series, in general, has never steered me wrong (get it?). The latest addition to their series is Rally, different to past iterations due to its straight up rallying nature. What’s so exciting about this release is the newest update which allows you to rally to your heart’s content whilst using the PSVR. You can buy the standard game for £15.99, the VR DLC for an extra £7.39 or the bundle for just £19.99.

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst (PS4)

This is the second time in the last few months that Catalyst has been on sale for the low price of £7.99 and both times I’ve recommended the game to several gaming friends. I enjoyed the first, an acquired taste, and the second game improves on the issues pointed out in the first. Plus, Faith is pretty badass.

BioShock Infinite: Complete Edition (PS3)

If you’ve not played the BioShock series then you must, the series was first introduced to me on the Xbox 360 and since then I played 2 and Infinite in their entirety. Infinite CE is available on PS3 for just £7.39 right now, other BioShock games are also available and I will mention them below. A city underwater and a city in the clouds makes for a fantastic story and engaging gameplay.

Demon’s Souls – PERSONAL PICK (PS3)

Where the series of bloody hard gameplay began. I’ve yet to finish the game myself – I know, it’s terrible! For £3.99 you can’t go wrong with a PS3 exclusive classic such as this and if you can beat the game then I salute you!

F1 2015 (PS4)

Yes, another racing game, but the F1 series from Codemasters is truly stunning. If you’re an F1 fan and have yet to pick up any game within this series then shame on you. The latest title throws you head first into the F1 experience and includes a ton of new features. I especially enjoy telling my engineer to be quiet whilst I’m out on track – shh, I’m concentrating! For £7.99 you can’t go wrong!

Also, consider these:

  • Thief  for £3.99 (PS4) and £3.29 (PS3)
  • Metro 2033 Redux for £5.79, Metro: Last Light Redux for £5.79 and the bundle for £7.99 (PS4)
  • The Walking Dead: Michonne (PS4) for £4.99
  • BioShock (PS3) for £3.29 and BioShock 2 Complete Pack (PS3) for £4.99
  • Murdered: Soul Suspect £3.29 (PS3) and £3.99 (PS4)
