Shady Shadow of Mordor paid branding deal revealed by YouTuber

Popular YouTube personality TotalBiscuit has revealed that he was only offered Shadow of Mordor code in return for a paid branding deal, despite #GamerGate still being headline news within the gaming community and other news outlets.

As you can see by the tweets above, the original deal to YouTubers was paid branding in return for a review copy of the game. This makes is difficult to disconnect the paid ads from the review content, there is no unbiased option. Sadly it seems that this has become common practice, although TotalBiscuit shares my thoughts in that he wishes the nonsense to stop.
